Pilar Grabe

Office Manager

Pilar has been in the valley for over 26 years. She started as a paralegal with KNH in 2015 and was promoted to Office Manager in 2017. Before coming to KNH she worked as an administrative assistant at Kerst & Strautman for nearly 10 years. When Pilar is not in the office you can find her on the golf course, snowshoeing, or spending time with her family.

Angelique Petterson

Paralegal

Angelique moved to the valley with her family in 2001 and has worked as the firm’s primary transaction paralegal since 2014.  She has a B.S. in Botany with a minor in Native American Studies from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and was previously a Botanist for the US Forest Service. After taking time away from career pursuits to raise her two daughters, Angelique earned a Paralegal Certificate from Colorado Mountain College. She enjoys renovating her historic home, cooking, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Hannah Simmons

Paralegal

Hannah Simmons is a certified paralegal with a degree in paralegal studies who joined Karp Neu Hanlon in 2018. She has a background in International Affairs and spent several years working for a non-profit organization caring for abandoned children in Haiti. On a personal level, Hannah enjoys exploring new places and trying new things with her two young girls… and a good cup of coffee.

Ashley Massow

Ashley Massow

Legal Assistant

Ashley moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2013 and worked in various professional roles in the marketing and events industry prior to joining Karp Neu Hanlon as a Legal Assistant in 2023. From 2009 – 2013 Ashley attended the University of Missouri and graduated from the School of Journalism with a B.A. in Strategic Communication Journalism and a minor in Business Marketing. Ashley is currently pursuing a Paralegal Certificate at Colorado Mountain College and aspires to attend law school in the future.
