About James

Jim Neu represents a wide range of local governments and businesses and handles many corporatereal estate, land use and transactional matters.  Jim is the City Attorney for the City of Rifle and the Town Attorney for the Town of Palisade and the Town of Collbran.  Jim is also General Counsel for Garfield County Emergency Communications Authority, West Glenwood Springs Sanitation District, Spring Valley Sanitation District and Garfield Clean Energy Collaborative.  Jim is also general counsel for many local corporations.

Jim is active in the community professionally and personally by representing non-profits on a pro bono basis or being on the board of directors.  Jim currently sits on the board of directors of Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association and Carbondale Mountain Fair.  Jim involves himself in many civic activities and spends his free time in the outdoors of Western Colorado mountain biking, skiing and hiking, or inside homebrewing beer and learning to play the mandolin.
